Hi Steemians!
So we have those highly successful, whale-upvoted posts in the Trending page. At the same time, there are posts that become popular among minnows, but fail to capture whales’ attention, earning dimes and quarters. So I thought of creating a script that’d search for such posts, to provide myself with some good reads, and hopefully also to give these posts a second chance.
For this search I’ve come up with a formal criterion. My formula was simple:
[#votes]2 / max(payout, $1)
plus a few filters.
So the most undervalued posts this week were:
@levycore captures a Steemit whale floating right above the trees in the night sky. One reader spotted accompanying dolphins as well!
@crypto.owl is a report by a volunteer girl who participated in rescue squad training at a subway station in Russia. Check it out for zombie-like photos of people pretending to be injured by an explosion.
@belkins is part 5 of a series showcasing street art in Kiev, Ukraine. If you happen to like it, be sure to check earlier posts in the same series! Some pieces are truly mind-blowing.
