I'm off to a slow start, but putting a little money in helped a lot!

I have noticed that my fitbit captures other activities like driving. obviously it would pick up more steps from walking around and other actual exercise.

I don't do anything special, but all of my photos are taken on either my phone or my wife's phone, and using the phone's default settings. Are you using photos taken from a phone or transfered over?

My mom has a fitbit. My dad has some other smartwatch that does blood pressure. I talked to my mom about getting setup with actifit but she didn't seem that interested.
