Hola amigos de @Hivepets, espero que tengan un bendecido y productivo día. Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad dedicada a esos integrantes de la familia que vienen a cambiar nuestra cotidianidad con sus travesuras, que en ocasiones nos revuelan nuestro día a día.

Primero debo decir que hasta mis 45 años fui una persona negada a tener animales en mi casa, más los respeto por ser una creación de Dios, estoy a favor de hacer valer sus derechos y en contra totalmente a su maltrato. Sólo acepté de adolescente una perrita llamada Heidi, que mi hermano llevó a casa una tarde y para que mi mamá la aceptará me pidió que por favor le dijera que me la habían regalado a mí, ya que él llevaba muchos animalitos a casa y ya mi madre no quería uno más.

El año pasado perdí a mi madre y mi esposo, el cual tampoco es de tener animales como mascota, se le ocurrió traer una ternura peluda y blanca a casa, el cual le habían regalado y que por extraña razón aceptó y lo trajo sin preguntarme, muchos menos avisarme.

Hello @Hivepets friends, I hope you have a blessed and productive day. This is my first post in this community dedicated to those members of the family that come to change our daily life with their antics, which sometimes disturb our daily lives.

First I must say that until I was 45 years old I was a person who refused to have animals in my house, but I respect them for being a creation of God, I am in favor of enforcing their rights and totally against their mistreatment. I only accepted as a teenager a dog named Heidi, that my brother brought home one afternoon and in order for my mother to accept her he asked me to please tell her that she had been given to me, since he brought many animals home and my mother didn't want one more.

Last year I lost my mother and my husband, who is not a pet person either, came up with the idea of bringing home a white furry tenderness, which had been given to him and for strange reason he accepted it and brought it without asking me, much less telling me.

Quedé impactada cuando lo vi llegar, lo fue a buscar con mis hijos y para sorpresa, en el camino ya le habían colocado nombre "ROCKY", nombre que tiene todo que ver con HIVE ya que así se conoce a una de las ballenas en esta plataforma, @ROCKY1, al cual suelo nombrar mucho cuando publico y ellos necesitaban apegarse a todo aquello que hiciera que no me negara a tenerlo como mascota.

I was shocked when I saw him arrive, went to pick him up with my children and to my surprise, on the way they had already named him "ROCKY", a name that has everything to do with HIVE since that is how one of the whales is known on this platform, @ROCKY1, which I usually name a lot when I publish and they needed to stick to everything that would make me not refuse to have him as a pet.

Luego de ocho meses debo decir que es la alegría de todos en casa. Al llegar a nuestro hogar, es quien está en la puerta esperándonos, al levantarnos en la mañana sale disparado a saludarme y de pequeño era obligatorio sentarme en la mecedora luego de montar el café y el solía subirse a mi regazo para que lo acariciara, ya de grande solo se pega a mis piernas demostrando su cariño.

After eight months I must say he is the joy of everyone at home. When we arrive at our home, he is the one who is at the door waiting for us, when we get up in the morning he rushes out to greet me and when I was little it was mandatory to sit in the rocking chair after making coffee and he used to climb on my lap to be petted, when I grew up he just sticks to my legs showing his affection.

Jamás pensé que los gatos fuesen tan inteligentes y definitivamente domesticables al 100%, siempre hizo sus necesidades en su arenero, cosa que me preocupaba muchísimo si no aprendía, cuando necesito que venga porque algún animal rastrero aparece lo llamo de una manera particular y llega buscando que cosa debe eliminar en casa.

Es super juguetón desde chiquito, todo lo que le lanzamos corre a agarrarlo, le encanta comer y dormir. Nunca lo dejábamos salir a la calle por lo que es muy limpio y bien cuidado, pero si hay algo que lo caracteriza es que es muy refunfuñón , jajaja cada vez que lo regañamos por algo se voltea y se va literalmente refunfuñando.

I never thought that cats were so intelligent and definitely 100% tameable, he always did his needs in his sandbox, something that worried me a lot if he did not learn, when I need him to come because some creepy crawly animal appears I call him from a particular one and he arrives looking for what to eliminate at home.

He is super playful since he was a little boy, everything we throw at him he runs to catch it, he loves to eat and sleep. We never let him out in the street so he is very clean and well cared for, but if there is something that characterizes him is that he is very grumpy, hahaha every time we scold him for something he turns around and leaves literally grumbling.

En fin me ha hecho mucho bien tenerlo en casa, me ayudó en mi dolor por la pérdida de mi madre y nos compenetro más como familia. Es un miembro más y como tal lo tratamos si debemos salir de viaje lo llevamos, sus alimentos forman parte de la lista de suministros y la atención medica veterinaria cuando se puede no falta.

Cuando estoy en mi habitación me va a buscar y en la puerta se sienten sus llamados tan particulares y hasta la puerta quiere abrir, mis hijos dicen que Rocky me ama y yo terminé por amarlo también y así es. Solo espero tenerlo mucho tiempo para seguir disfrutando de sus locuras, gestos, malcriadeces y amor.

Anyway, it has done me a lot of good to have him at home, he helped me in my grief for the loss of my mother and he made us feel more comfortable as a family. He is a member of the family and we treat him as such, if we have to go on a trip we take him with us, his food is part of the supply list and veterinary medical attention when we can is not lacking.

When I am in my room he goes to look for me and at the door you can feel his particular calls and even the door wants to open, my children say that Rocky loves me and I ended up loving him too and so it is. I just hope to have him for a long time to continue to enjoy his madness, gestures, spoiled and love.
