This winter has been the coldest in 25 years. Every day since this arctic cold started I have had 2 squirrels eating for several hours and all the small birds. I give them apples, nuts, grains of all kinds.

I agree completely. I have done so since a very early age. That is probably why you and I are the few who can see what is happening in the world! We are just spectators and not participants in this spectacle.
