Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited to a baby shower held at a lovely, cozy venue with a country-style vibe. I wanted an outfit that made me feel beautiful and elegant yet comfortable. I usually like to step away from the conventional, so I opted for an ivory cocktail dress—a vintage-style piece with romantic touches and a built-in corset that accentuates the figure. It features lovely satin ribbon detailing on the front—which, unfortunately, doesn't show up in the photos since I didn't think to highlight it—but I absolutely love the long sleeves and the sweetheart neckline.
La semana pasada tuve el gran placer de ser invitada a la celebración de un Baby Shower, el cual sería en un lugar super lindo y acogedor con aires campestres, yo quería algo que me hiciera sentir linda y elegante pero al mismo tiempo cómoda, usualmente me gusta salirme del convencionalismo, así que opté por un vestido tipo coctel en color Marfil, es un vestido de tipo vintage con toques románticos, con un corsé incorporado que ayuda a entallar la figura. Tiene un lindo detalle de cintas de razo en la parte frontal, que lamentablemente no se aprecia en las fotos porque no tomé en cuenta ese detalle, pero amo sus mangas largas y el detalle del escote en forma de corazón.
Here you can see the accessory I chose to complement the outfit: a pair of platform sandals. I like platform sandals because, while they offer an elegant look, they aren't uncomfortable at all; they keep you feeling at ease all day long. They’re even comfortable for walking on grass—and if the ground happens to be damp, your feet don't even get wet! 😁
Aquí se puede apreciar lo que usé como complemento que fuese en cohesión con el outfit, son un par de sandalias de plataforma, me gustan las sandalias de plataforma porque aunque ofrecen un estilo elegante no molestan para nada, te hacen sentir muy cómoda todo el día, incluso es cómoda para caminar sobre el césped y si acaso está húmedo ni siquiera te mojas los pies 😁.
Here you can see a bit more detail of the sweetheart neckline, and to complement the outfit, I’m wearing a lovely French-style beret as an accessory (I love it 😍).
Aquí se ve un poco más el detalle del escote en forma de corazón, y como complemento del outfit, como accesorio llevo una bonita boina tipo francesa (me encanta 😍)
