As I walked along the riverbank, I was greeted by the soft sound of water flowing over stones, and the scents of blooming wildflowers filled the air. The quaint stone bridges and cottages lining the river were enchanting, their honey-colored stone glowing in the morning light. Continuing my hike, I made my way to the nearby village of Lower Slaughter. The town is a hidden gem, with its historic buildings and the fascinating old mill. I couldn't help but pause to admire the beautifully preserved architecture, which really transported me back in time.
