I made my way to the iconic Royal Crescent, a row of 30 terraced houses that form a sweeping crescent overlooking Royal Victoria Park. The architecture was truly impressive, and I spent some time taking in the beauty of the perfectly preserved buildings.
I also visited the Roman Baths, a well-preserved ancient site that gives a fascinating insight into the history of the city. Walking through the ruins and learning about the rituals and practices of the Romans was a captivating experience.
During my walk, I met a local historian who shared some interesting stories about the city and its past. He told me about the Roman origins of Bath and how it became a popular spa destination in the Georgian era. It was fascinating to learn about the layers of history that have shaped this beautiful city.
Overall, my walk in Bath was a delightful experience filled with history, architecture, and charming encounters with locals. I can't wait to explore more of England's historic towns and cities on my future walks!
