One of the highlights of my walk was visiting Arlington Row, a row of weaver's cottages dating back to the 17th century. The cottages are now owned by the National Trust and are one of the most photographed spots in the Cotswolds. The tranquil River Coln flows alongside the cottages, adding to the idyllic setting.
I also explored the grounds of Bibury Court, a historic manor house that dates back to the 16th century. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland, making it a peaceful spot to wander around and soak in the history of the area.
During my walk, I had the pleasure of meeting some friendly locals who shared stories about the village's history and pointed out hidden gems that I might have otherwise missed. It's always a delight to chat with residents and learn more about the places I visit.
Overall, my walk in Bibury was a delightful experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty and history of the Cotswolds. I can't wait to plan my next adventure and explore more of England's charming villages and countryside.
