It has been some time since I made a post and I apologize for this.
I just have not been able to write since our family received the news that my son in the U.K. was rushed into hospital - code blue.
He had bacterial meningitis - a very severe case - so severe that according to the doctors, 40% of these patients do not make it.
Today is day 17 that he has been in hospital and although he looks thin and fragile, he seems to have turned the corner.
In a voice message to his family last night, he said, and I quote "trying to be strong, but not feeling it".
As a mom, there is nothing worse than your child no matter what age, is suffering - it is all consuming.
The love and support from his family has been something for him to hold on to.
Friends as well as people that he does not even know, have been so amazing in their support.
Life is fragile -so keep your loved ones close.
