Hi everybody,

I would like to dedicate this post to fresh fruit in Zanzibar, which is available everywhere, literally everywhere at every corner you will meet a fruit shop, or at least someone selling fruit on the street. The fruit is so delicious, fresh, sweet and also cheap. The fruit smells wonderful and cannot be compared to what is offered to us in a supermarket in Europe.
It is available here tropical fruits like mango, guava, jackfruit, citrus fruits, avocados and bananas, as well as vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes and much more. The great thing is the farms produce them mainly for the local market.

If you are at the beach, the vendor will prepare a coconut for you and you can drink it but also eat the pulp. It is very refreshing.
In every restaurant menu, you will find not only grilled seafood and meat, fresh salads, but also healthy smoothies.
Zanzibar's main industries are turism and spices. Especially, the island produce cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper.

As Zanzibar is influenced by African, Arab and Portuguese influences, it really has a lot to offer.

Lots of love & Hakuna Matata!💙🙏

T.
