Hi Everyone! I trust we're having a fun filled Summer already鈽猴笍馃槉.

Join me, as I make one of my favorite dishes. I enjoy eating pasta hence, I find different methods to prepare them. My mum prepared it for I and my siblings many years ago and ever since, I haven't gotten over it馃. Though I'm basically using my personal recipe. You can as well try it out your favorite flavours during the process.

Bolognese is one of my favorites, and I mean it when I say it is, lol. I really can't wait to share my recipe with you... Follow me 馃槈

INGREDIENTS

1.Spaghetti 500g (any pasta of your choice)
2.Minced beef 500g (you can also use minced chicken, pork).

  1. Olive oil 100ml
  2. Onions 150g
  3. Garlic
  4. Tomatoes(diced)
  5. Tomato puree
  6. Whole milk 150ml( you might choose to use evaporated or skimmed)
  7. Bell peppers 50g each (I'll be using the green, red and yellow bell peppers.
  8. Pasley(some leaves)
  9. Ginger powder(1sp)
  10. Seasoning cubes (of course your
favorite spices are not left out 馃槀)
  11. Salt to taste.
  12. An egg( to keep the Doctor away馃槀. Also optional)

PROCEDURE
I cooked my pasta in boiling water for some minutes. I prefer using boiling water to ensure it doesn't turn out sticky.

After few minutes, I added some salt to taste. And allow to cook for few minutes till done. I have another pot on the cooker to make the beef sauce already 馃榿

I diced my onions, garlic and bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, red pepper and few leaves of Parsley. For the bell peppers, I love cutting them into something simple , lol... square shapes will do that for me because I want to have them a bit crunchy while munching 馃槀
I already had few cloves of garlic so I diced them together with my onions. I remember my mum telling me that I always called garlic "the sister of onion"馃槀... I can't tell what I was thinking as a toddler..lol.
For my tomatoes and red peppers, I like them chunky (You can also blend). And for my carrots, medium size is perfectly fine. I had few leaves of parsley preserved not for long in my fridge and why not, it'll add another flavour to it.
Now let's get to the real deal...

Its time to add my minced beef and cook on a low heat. This is to allow the beef simmer properly and absorb some natural flavoring especially that of garlic.
I Cooked for about a 10-12 minutes until it turned to light brown.
Added some seasoning cubes and some spices. I used ginger powder and curry powder and nutmeg powder mixed with cinnamon. (Cinnamon is my favourite).

I proceeded to add the tomatoes and stirred properly.(you might decide to use mashed tomatoes and that is perfect fine)

I added a scoop of tomato puree and stirred evenly. This is to specialize the taste and flavour. I definitely love adding some puree to my meal馃榿

Some salt to taste. You can add more of your favorite spices. Why not? 馃き
