Spring is here and so are the flowers馃尲 Hawthorn for heart medicine, calendula for healing skin salves and daisies just for fun.
With a quantity of new herbs and flowers to process there is also a need to reorganize my apothecary. I spent the day doing a bit of spring cleaning, reviewing the herbs that are getting old, cleaning jars , and in general making space for new magic in my herbal shelves.
The turning of the wheel of the year brings me so much excitement and joy. I get the feeling that this season will bring much novelty and lessons as a gardener and herbalist.
