My 2025 Hive Journey: 115K HP Surpassed + My Participation in the December HPUD
Today is December 1, 2025, and it is also the day of the last Hive Power Up Day of the current year.
I started participating in Hive Power Up Day in October 2020, and with the power up I did today, +234 Hive Power (HP), I have reached my 57th participation in this initiative, the 39th in a row.
I like to participate consistently in Hive Power Up Day because increasing my Hive Power has always been and still is my main goal on Hive!
On Hive there are HIVE tokens and HBD tokens but it is only the staked form of HIVE tokens = Hive Power (HP) that measures the influence of a Hive account.
During October, the HIVE token had touched its all-time low ($0.07797)
Today, HIVE is worth $0.09910, which is far from its all-time high recorded on November 26, 2021 ($3.42) and is above its all-time low by +27.57%.
This is just my personal opinion (not financial advice): the current market value of the HIVE token is really too low in relation to the many uses that Hive has!
I joined Hive in March 2019 and after more than six years my passion for Hive is still strong and alive because there are so many activities I enjoy doing on Hive.
In particular, I like to publish content on my Hive blog, I like to interact with and support other Hive authors, and I like to play Hive-based games, which are one of my passions.
Even though the market value is low, the Hive ecosystem is alive and continues to improve.
With the recent Hard Fork (HF 28), some improvements and simplifications have been introduced.
For example, the voting system has changed and is now linear and easier to understand than before.
In summary, after HF 28, VP no longer affects the value of the vote but only measures the number of votes at a certain percentage that you can give.
After HF28:
- at VP 100% -> the vote is worth 100% of its power
- at VP 40% -> the vote is worth the same
- at VP 2% -> the vote is still worth the same
Before HF28, the value of the vote decreased as the voting power decreased!
Another nice and recent improvement was the update of some pages of the website https://hive.io/, which is now much more attractive and modern and has dynamic elements such as counters showing the number of transactions and Blockchain Activity.
The various sections on the Home Page are much more informative than before.
Thanks to the Hive Power Up I did today, I surpassed the 115K HP threshold, but I don't intend to stop there.
Based on the HP I have at the end of this year, I will set an annual goal for next year.
If you are a new user, my advice is:
- have fun interacting and posting
- support other authors
- increase your Hive Power
If you follow these three simple tips, your growth will not be immediate but will be exponential over time.
My goals for the last month of 2025 are:
- publish at least 30 posts
- interact and comment more
- support at least 100 different authors with my voting power.

The Hive blockchain is more Unique than Rare!
What makes Hive's blockchain more unique than rare are its peculiarities:
Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".
Hive is completely decentralized
Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.
Hive has no transaction costs
Hive has many utilities and features
Hive has a big and beautiful community

Oggi è il 1 dicembre 2025 ed è anche il giorno dell'ultimo Hive Power Up Day dell'anno in corso.
Ho iniziato a partecipare all'Hive Power Up Day nell'ottobre del 2020 e con il power up che ho fatto oggi, +234 Hive Power (HP), sono arrivato alla mia 57ª partecipazione a questa iniziativa, la 39ª consecutiva.
Mi piace partecipare con costanza all'Hive Power Up Day perchè aumentare il mio Hive Power è sempre stato ed è anche oggi il mio obiettivo principale su Hive!
Su Hive ci sono i token HIVE e i token HBD ma è solo la forma staked dei token HIVE = Hive Power (HP) che misura l'influenza di un Hive account.
Durante il mese di ottobre il token HIVE aveva toccato il suo All-time Low (0.07797$)
Oggi HIVE vale 0.09910$, valore che è molto lontano dal suo All-time high registrato il 26 novembre 2021 (3.42$) ed è sopra al suo All time low del +27.57%.
E' solo la mia personale opinione (non è un consiglio finanziario): il valore di mercato attuale del token HIVE è davvero troppo basso in rapporto alle tante utilità che ha Hive!
Mi sono iscritto su Hive nel marzo 2019 e dopo più di sei anni la mia passione per Hive è ancora forte e viva perchè sono tante le attività che mi piace fare su Hive.
In particolare mi piace pubblicare contenuti sul mio Hive blog, mi piace interagire e supportare gli altri autori di Hive e mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games che sono una delle mie passioni.
Anche se il valore di mercato è basso l'ecosistema di Hive è vivo e continua a migliorare.
Con il recente Hard Fork (HF 28) sono state introdotte alcune migliorie e alcune semplificazioni.
Ad esempio è cambiato il sistema di voto che adesso è lineare ed è anche più semplice da capire rispetto a prima.
In sintesi, dopo l'HF 28, il VP non influisce più sul valore del voto ma misura solo il quantitativo di voti ad una determinata percentuale che puoi dare.
Dopo HF28:
- a VP 100% -> il voto vale il 100% della sua potenza
- a VP 40% -> il voto vale uguale
- a VP 2% -> il voto vale ancora uguale
Prima dell'HF28 il valore del voto diminuiva con il diminuire del voting power!
Un'altra bella e recente miglioria è stata l'aggiornamento di alcune pagine del sito https://hive.io/ che adesso è molto più bello e moderno e ha degli elementi dinamici che mostrano il numero di transazioni e la Blockchain Activity.
Le varie sezioni nella Home Page sono molto più informative rispetto a prima.
Grazie all'Hive Power Up che ho fatto oggi ho superato la soglia di 115K HP ma non ho intenzione di fermarmi.
In base agli HP che avrò alla fine di quest'anno fisserò un obiettivo annuale per l'anno prossimo.
Se sei un nuovo utente i miei consigli sono:
- divertiti a interagire e a pubblicare
- supporta gli altri autori
- aumenta il tuo Hive Power
Se seguirai questi tre semplici consigli la tua crescita non sarà immediata ma sarà esponenziale con il passare del tempo.
I miei propositi per l'ultimo mese dell'anno 2025 sono:
- pubblicare almeno 30 posts
- interagire e commentare di più
- supportare con il mio potere di voto almeno 100 autori diversi.
