I just saw that that area got hit by a major storm, I bet they could have used some ridges to slow down the waves.

It just doesn't seem right that this isn't bigger news considering the wildlife impact. A shame!

Why don't they plant more of the non native cane that seems to grow faster and holds the lands together better?

The really sad thing is that the day they finish the project is the day that it starts to wash away, it doesn't seem like nature wants to have land there...
