Hello, how are you? There this time that I craved for blueberries, and one time we got to a membership-only warehouse, which imports international products. Usually, you can surely see blueberries there, to my suprise blueberry is not as cheap, so nevermind LOL. I'll just buy one a cracker with blueberry fillings that one is more affordable haha.
So to satisfy those cravings, I made a donut version of it, but in a clay keychain. Now, I have a little experience in making donut clay, so I am going to step up a little bit.

Craft Time!
Conditioning the clay is the most important part of this process: knead it until the texture is soft enough to stretch, and I like to weigh the clay I use for future reference. You can skip this part.
Shape the clay into a ball and place it in a gum lid.
Using the handle tip of the clay tool, I poke a hole in the center.
To add texture, I am going to use my texture tool, but first, I am going to use the needle tool to add texture at the center of the clay.
To add the bread texture, I use the tree brush tool and a toothbrush.
Before adding shade, I like to tape the middle part of the donut. Usually, the middle of the donut shade is the lightest, so to make it more realistic, I do it like that.
To make the color of the clay realistic, I use soft pastels and a brush to add shades to it. After that, I removed the sticker I stuck earlier.
For the blueberries, I use the closest color to the real blueberries and shape them into a small ball.
I saw someone use the tip of the screwdriver, which is genius, so I did it and made it all easier.
I press the screwdriver onto the upper part of the clay, creating a dent like the blueberries.
To make the sweet glazing, I mix liquid clay and some blue clay and mix them together using pallete knife, and then to achieve the color I wanted, I added soft pastels to it to correct the color I wanted.
Using the dotting tool, I added the mixture earlier only to the top part of the clay.
And then I added the blueberries on top of it, and then I added a powdered blue just to make it unique, I guess hehe.
Then I added the eyepin.
Then bake the clay, but first preheat the oven, and then set the temperature and time as instructed on the packaging of the clay. Let the clay cool down first before proceeding.
I like to add the blueberry jam on it, so I mix UV resin and soft pastel and mix it. Make sure to wear disposable gloves and a mask.
Then apply it using a toothpick.
Then cure it under a UV lamp for a few minutes until it is fully cured.
To add the keychain. I put the jumpring into the eyepin.
Then lock it using two pliers and wahlaah!
