All good first parts deserve equally good second parts: that's what I thought when I decided to travel again with the Facebook trekking group. I had such a great time on our trip to Balcarce that I barely hesitated when they suggested going to visit Azul. These weekend outings help me disconnect a little from my daily routine, not lose my love for nature, and get to know a little more of the interior of Buenos Aires Province. On an express Saturday and Sunday trip, I had the little vacation I needed to recharge, spend some money, and recharge with good energy again 馃槂.
Todas las buenas primeras partes merecen unas tambi茅n buenas segundas partes: eso fue lo que pens茅 cuando decid铆 volver a ir de viaje con el grupo de trekking de Facebook. La hab铆a pasado tan bien en nuestra salida a Balcarce, que casi ni dud茅 cuando propusieron ir a visitar Azul. Estos paseos de fin de semana me sirven para desconectarme un poco de la rutina diaria, para no perder mi sentido de gusto por la naturaleza y para conocer un poco m谩s el interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires. En un viaje express de s谩bado y domingo, tuve las peque帽as vacaciones que necesitaba para recargar, gastar y volver a recargar buena energ铆a 馃槂.
The city of Azul is 320 km from home, heading south into the province. I had already passed through this city on other previous trips, but I had never stopped to go trekking. That's why I accepted this trip with the same group as the Balcarce outing. We started this trip early on a Saturday, driving at our own pace and stopping as many times as necessary to have lunch, have a snack, and stretch our legs. We were so relaxed on the way there that we arrived on Saturday almost at sunset, while half of the group was already waiting for us at the accommodation.
La ciudad de Azul queda a 320 km de casa, en sentido al sur de la provincia. Yo ya hab铆a pasado por esta ciudad en otros viajes anteriores, pero nunca me hab铆a detenido a hacer trekking. Fue por eso que acept茅 este paseo con el mismo grupo que la salida a Balcarce. Este paseo lo empezamos un s谩bado temprano, en el que fuimos manejando a nuestro tiempo y parando las veces necesarias para almorzar, merendar y estirar las piernas. Tanto nos relajamos en la ida que llegamos el s谩bado casi al atardecer, mientras que la mitad del grupo ya nos estaba esperando en el alojamiento.
Although arriving at sunset wasn't ideal because we missed the first trekking of the trip, I really enjoyed the journey. Just getting on the road for a while is enough to get my soul excited again. On the way to Azul, the guys and I chatted and shared anecdotes, so much so that we didn't even realize how much time had passed. When we finally arrived at the accommodation, we discovered that although it was quite less elegant than the one from the first trip, it had a swimming pool and a green park that made up for all of that (at least for me, since I have a hippie soul and didn't mind sharing a room with FIFTEEN PEOPLE).
Si bien llegar al atardecer no fue lo ideal porque nos perdimos el primer trekking del paseo, yo disfrut茅 mucho el viaje. Con el solo hecho de agarrar un poco de ruta, mi alma se vuelve a emocionar. En el camino a Azul, los chicos y yo fuimos charlando y compartiendo an茅cdotas, tanto que ni nos dimos cuenta de c贸mo hab铆a pasado el tiempo. Cuando finalmente llegamos al alojamiento, descubrimos que aunque este era bastante menos elegante que el de la primera salida, ten铆a una pileta y un parque verde que compensaban todo eso (al menos para m铆 que tengo un alma hippie y no me import贸 compartir habitaci贸n con QUINCE PERSONAS).
Although we missed the first trekking, we arrived early enough on Saturday to enjoy some of the remaining sunlight and the swimming pool. This trip took place during the first days of January this year, so the middle of summer was perfect for staying in the pool until late. When night fell, true to the style of these outings, we were able to share a group dinner where everyone took the opportunity to say a few words and reflect on what the first day of the trip had been like. In that case, I was able to praise the swimming pool quite a lot and didn't have much else to say, other than showing how excited I was for the following day and the activity I was actually going to be able to enjoy.
Si bien nos perdimos el primer trekking, el s谩bado llegamos lo suficientemente a tiempo como para disfrutar un poco del sol que quedaba y la pileta. Este paseo fue en los primeros d铆as de Enero de este a帽o, as铆 que el pleno verano se prestaba para quedarse en la pileta hasta tarde. Cuando cay贸 la noche, fiel al estilo de estas salidas, pudimos compartir una cena grupal en donde todos aprovechamos para decir unas palabras y hacer un balance de lo que fue el primer d铆a del paseo. En ese caso, yo pude elogiar bastante la pileta y no mucho tuve mucho m谩s para decir, m谩s que mostrarme ansiosa por el d铆a siguiente y la actividad que s铆 iba a poder disfrutar.
Overall, I really liked the trip we took to Azul, although honestly, it wasn't better than the trip to Balcarce. Perhaps the less comfortable accommodation than the first one had an influence, although not for me, but because of the complaints I heard from other people all the time (I didn't even take photos of it, so you can get an idea that it wasn't very nice). As for me, I adapt to anything because what I like is the mountains, but not everyone has that ability. As for the trekking outing itself, I loved it and was glad I did it, because we walked a lot, which was what I needed. In summary, for the $110 I paid for the whole trip, I had the best time I could 馃槀.
En l铆neas generales, el paseo que hicimos a Azul me gust贸 mucho, aunque honestamente, no fue mejor que el paseo a Balcarce. Quiz谩s el alojamiento menos c贸modo que el primero influy贸, aunque no por m铆, sino por las quejas que escuch茅 a cada rato de otras personas (ni siquiera saqu茅 fotos de 茅l, ah铆 pueden darse una idea de que no era muy lindo). Por mi parte, yo me adapto a cualquier cosa porque lo que me gusta es la monta帽a, pero no todo el mundo tiene esa capacidad. En cuando a la salida de trekking en s铆, me encant贸 y me alegr茅 de haberla hecho, porque caminamos un mont贸n, que era lo que necesitaba. En resumen, por los $110 que pagu茅 por todo ese paseo, lo pas茅 lo mejor que pude 馃槀.
