Debuting my new jeans accessories / (ENG/ESP)

The first thing I started to do was to select a piece of fabric and for this first step, I liked the brown jeans fabric because the texture is firmer, then on this fabric I placed the triangular cardboard shapes to draw the pieces of the necklace and earrings, with the marker I made the figure on the fabric, with the scissors I cut each figure and began to decorate the edges of the triangles with the black sequins.

Luego corté 7 tiras de jeans de 17x1cm, para hacer unas rosas que me gustan mucho y que aprendí a hacer hace mucho tiempo, cuando mi mamá me hacía adornos para el pelo.

Estas cintas se doblan haciendo vueltas hacia el lado contrario, dejando un contraste de colores, sujetándolas bien, después de terminarlas las fijé con hilo en el reverso de la rosa para evitar que se despegara y las dañara, también se pueden fijar con silicona caliente, en este caso me gusta coserlas porque no son tan rígidas.

I continued decorating the triangle of the necklace with silver sequins to give it more shine.

Then I cut 7 strips of jeans of 17x1cm, to make some roses that I like very much and that I learned to make a long time ago, when my mom made me hair ornaments.

These ribbons are folded making turns to the opposite side, leaving a contrast of colors, holding them well, after finishing them I fixed them with thread on the reverse side of the rose to prevent it from detaching and damaging them, they can also be fixed with hot silicone, in this case I like to sew them because they are not so rigid.

Completando el número de rosas necesarias, comencé a coser 5 de ellas sobre la pieza triangular que había decorado con lentejuelas para el collar.

A continuación corté un rectángulo de 6x9cm haciendo unos fruncidos desde la parte inferior del largo hacia arriba, pasando 2 vueltas de hilo por el centro del lazo para fijarlo y sobre este centro coloqué una cinta vaquera decorada con cuentas azules, que veran en los siguientes pasos.

Completing the number of roses needed, I began to sew 5 of them on the triangular piece that I had decorated with sequins for the necklace.

Then I cut a rectangle of 6x9cm making a few gathers from the bottom of the length upwards, passing 2 turns of thread through the center of the loop to fix it and on this center I placed a jeans ribbon decorated with blue beads, which you will see in the next steps.

Después de terminar el lazo que deshilaché por los bordes, lo coloqué en la punta del triángulo que se coloca invertido en el collar, lo mismo para los pendientes.

Para colocar el lazo utilicé un accesorio puntiagudo que me sirvió para hacer unos agujeros en la tela del jean, donde introduje unas argollas de cadena para sujetar el lazo y que se viera más llamativo, fijé las argollas de cadena cerrándolas con la ayuda de una pinza de bisutería lo cual fue fácil porque las argollas son de un material suave para manipular.

Después de este paso hice trenzas dobles y trenzas sencillas, la trenza doble la cosí a mano con una costura muy fina evitando que se viera la costura, en el caso de la trenza sencilla simplemente la corté y saqué dos tiras para unirlas a la cadena y utilizarla como cierre del collar.

Cosí las trenzas dobles a ambos lados del triángulo en la parte superior, haciendo dos asas donde van las cadenas a ambos lados, abriendo cada extremo de la cadena con la ayuda de la pinza, cerrando después en cada asa del collar.

After finishing the loop that I frayed around the edges, I placed it on the tip of the triangle that is placed inverted on the necklace, the same for the earrings.

To place the loop I used a pointed accessory that was useful to make some holes in the jeans fabric, where I inserted some chain rings to hold the loop and so it would look more striking, I fixed the chain rings closing them with the help of a jewelry pliers which was easy because the rings are made of a soft material to manipulate.

After this step I made double braids and single braids, the double braid I sewed by hand with a very thin seam avoiding the visibility of the seam, in the case of the single braid I just cut it and took out two strips to attach them to the chain and use it as a necklace fastener.

I sewed the double braids on both sides of the triangle at the top, making two handles where the chains go on both sides, opening each end of the chain with the help of the clamp, then closing on each handle of the necklace.

Con algunos pasos ya avanzados, comienzo a colocar cada una de las piezas para hacer los aretes, primero cosí las cuentas azules en el centro de los triángulos de los aretes, luego hice unos agujeros en la parte superior de cada triángulo para colocar unos trozos de cadena, donde coloqué una rosa por arete, en la parte superior de las rosas hice unos agujeros para colocar un pequeño trozo de cadena donde coloqué los ganchos de estos aretes, con estos pasos ya tengo listos mis aretes.

With some steps already advanced, I begin to place each of the pieces to make the earrings, first I sewed the blue beads in the center of the triangles of the earrings, then I made some holes at the top of each triangle to place some pieces of chain, where I placed a rose per earring, on the top of the roses I made some holes to place a small piece of chain where I placed the hooks of these earrings, with these steps I have my earrings ready.
