The language tags (like #spanish) are intended to mark posts in a specific language (like spanish^^) to make them way easier to find for the corresponding community. So I can only answer your final question

A function was broken and we accidently mentioned everyone writing in the languages scanned for (with or without using the corresponding language tag) - sry for that!
