Not far from the village of Landol, about two kilometers from the main road is my father's orchard. We parked the car at the main road and brought a small backpack with water and muffins I had made before and of course the ball. The weather was windy and a bit chilly but sunny.
The path to the orchard is very interesting and leads through orchards, fields and small oak and acacia forests.Birds chirping, the sound of the wind, the falcons circling, the butterflies and the hum of bees - this place is full of life. We almost always meet scared pheasants and merry squirrels. Once, a few meters away, we saw a fox.
I am emotionally attached to this place. Probably because my father loved his orchard a lot. I always enjoyed picking plums and cherries. Also, after the first frost we picked blackthorns. The thorn juice has an unusual taste and is very healthy! I promise the recipe! :)
My kids love walks like this a lot. Now we have more time for them, especially me, because I do part of the work from home.
We took a break in the oak forest, where we ate our muffins.Next to the forest is a meadow where we played football.
Due to the Korona pandemic, it is forbidden to leave home in Serbia after three o'clock in the afternoon. So we left Landol at two o'clock, to avoid any inconvenience.
We spent a fantastic three hours, enjoying the clean air and beautiful nature and most importantly, what we miss most - freedom. For a moment we forgot all the problems.
I have to mention that my 9-year-old son loves to take photos, so this post is our teamwork. :)
Stay healthy, normal and positive in this abnormal time!
With love,
Snežana
