Yes, the brownish to even yellow-orange ones are more normal. I only pick the ones we are 100% on for eating!

Happy Birthday to you! I hope Friday the 13th meant good thing for you. Very nice mushroom photos, we get what looks like a vary similar species growing here, usually in the grass below trees.

I don't know what that strange move was about... but I'm no bird psychologist! Hopefully I will find more time for blog posts as the days get shorter and we're spending less time outside.

Thank you @ninahaskin! At first, it was a bit disappointing that you couldn't see much detail in the birds, but in the end the silhouettes lend themselves well to the unfolding story.
