I ALWAYS got in way more trouble misunderstanding something important, than I ever did by looking stupid. In fact, I would ask my stupid question while they rolled their eyes, then I WOULD REPEAT IT BACK TO THEM in my own words to make sure I understood it. I can’t tell you how much learning this the hard way saved my ass!
