RE: The Recovery of Philo
lol, hacking is right. I felt like deep in the jungle chopping my way through. It's been cool to watch it growing back, noticeable even overnight.

RE: The Recovery of Philo
Yes, I thought it would take the rest of summer for it to be filled out again. I'm very pleased that it's growing back so fast. I think another month and it will be back to full glory and even better than

RE: White and Brown Pelicans
Pelicans must be my favorite. I just love watching them glide over in formation like a group of gliders going in for a landing. Especially when they are just skimming inches over the waves or going directly

What a great adventure and thanks for posting it in our group! Very cool the drone saved the day by finding the cave faster!

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
It was a nice surprise for me to pull off the video. I have to admit my first time attempting a video / pic of launch and wasn't expecting it. I'll have a better one next go around!

Yes, some better video's from the pro's for sure. Was still cool to film my own. Will definitely be doing more birds this summer. Maybe on the feeder, we do have hummingbirds here already.

I think that eel would make better bait for bigger fish!

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
Definitely a better view from the beach, but this great for when we don't want to fight the crowds, or last minute views.

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
Indeed it is going to be quite a quick ride. I'm guessing more to spy on what others may have been doing on the other side, or scout future possibilities. But not to start any conspiracy theories. lol

Been here 2 years now, and only the third one I've caught, but yes it's still a thrill and feel lucky to have so close since I'm a bit of a hermit lol.

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
Thanks for making the effort! Yes, The ones that make the jellyfish cloud is the rockets that feed the skytrain satellites up into the air. I think we are on the same page. :)

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
Not the sky train. When they launch the starlink satellites, the rocket exhaust often leaves this big jelly fish looking cloud in the sky during the early morning launches.

RE: Straight to the Moon (Artemis Launch video)
Ahh, you're too kind. But thanks! It certainly was more of a challenge than I originally thought. I'll be doing a little different next time. Really wanting to capture one of the SpaceX jellyfish clouds

Exactly right. I thought the flight was going to be on the other side of that darn pole! Maybe next time I'll get to the beach for a better shot without all the houses and clutter!

Welcome back! Been a while and nice to see you back. Your beach looks more crowded than ours this week for sure. While the Daytona Spring Break crowds are clearing, it's a little quieter up here near Flagler

RE: Early Armadillo Day
They are cute in the woods, but I don't know that I would want them tearing up the yard. We had one here last year, but only saw it once or twice, I think maybe one the neighbors got rid of it as a couple
