Hahaha, yes, I finally gave it up and threw an old Digital 8 camera away just 2 moves ago (2 years) after not pulling it out of box for over 15 years.

Very interesting indeed, they are wild all over the place down here. Even this rookery is an open-air rookery, not enclosed.

Thank you for that. I'm glad others can enjoy them almost as much as I did taking them!

Right? I also took a few short video sequences that really ate up the memory. 40 Gigs of storage on the drive, lol. And yes crazy indeed how we used to wait a week for processing and print to see how they

Thank you. I just learned that myself while pulling a few facts for the post. Always interesting to learn something new!

Agree, sometimes the content production can be frustrating. It's easy to forget that it can be loads of fun just flying without worrying about the content. I have to remind myself that all the time, as

Thanks and yes those Gator eyes are just creepy to look at for sure. Almost like robot eyes, just there for a purpose.

That could do it. Even a good phone won't record the high quality video/pics locally. It's best to pull them directly from the drone memory card for full resolution and fidelity, then process. Still came

RE: Up High in The Scottish Highlands
Hello again, nice to see you back. Looks like a great area to fly and explore. Video auto-played for me at 720p and looked nice, but seems a bit choppy in spots. Not sure what that is, almost looks like

Yes, they seem to get dangerously close very often. Frequently see them only a couple feet away and surely within striking distance if the gators are hungry. I'm sure the occasional one gets caught.

Yes, easy enough for folks to get into trouble if they are careless! I still got many good pictures of the birds, it was expected to be a little early for the mating dances. I wanted a chance to practice

They definitely have an old world danger factor working for them here!

Yes, it is comforting to have the partially enclosed elevated walkway to view the Alligators safely here.

Gas my favorite way to go. Ready to grill in 2 min. No cleanup needed or easy cleanup when you feel like it. If you want other flavor, just add some wood bits or other to give more smoke or taste.

I spend most of my time behind a computer. I also prefer PeakD interface for use. I did try Ecency for awhile, but since I seldom use the mobile for access, PeakD suits me better on the web browser. I

Yes, the pistol results overall was excellent including the 25 yards. Just the rifle suxored. This was somewhat expected as it clearly states they are designed for 3-4 inch pistol barrel lengths. I just

I've owned dozens of weapons, and this Ruger Mark IV is definitely in my top three favorites of all time. The Mark 3 models are also good for accuracy, but a major pain to field strip and clean. This one

Well only certain ones, and for specific purposes. I generally leave it off (it connects and disconnects in 2 seconds with the little flip lever). For sighting in, or for accuracy at longer distances,
