There are a lot of cool locations in LA, and especially Pasadena, they're just insanely expensive to shoot at unless you have a hook up. Luckily, she did.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a masterpiece and it's based on Ed Gein who I was fascinated by as a teenager. The really drop off after the first one, though.
