Ever since I first joined Steemit my goal was not just become a user, but a superuser based on the distribution chart. I first joined Steemit July 10, 2016. I introduced myself officially July 28, 2016. Before that I was writing articles about Steem Steemit and its price and market cap.
I was testing out how to add images to an article in the new features and at the time lack of features it had back then. And I could see the potential of what Steemit could really grow into within the next few years or even just a year. I didn't want to miss an opportunity to be a part of something great. And I hope new users do not get discouraged if they are not doing as well as they want to or expect. It takes time and work as long as you stay with it you will reap the rewards of what you sow. I am very happy that I have reached my goal of becoming a superuser and having 1 million vest. My next goal personally is to have 100 followers and I am very close currently at 84. In terms of how me vest I want to get to it would have to be 10 million vest or hero status.
Who knows it may take 10 times the amount of work or time or it may happen in the same amount of time based on the growth I have been seeing in the network.
The thing about something like this is that it could be exponential meaning that the growth is at a very high rate than what is considered average. And like I always like to point out it is not so much about the money is about networking making connections and providing good content and information to others. The money or financial side of it is just a plus that you will not get from any other social media platform or site. It is great to have a community that is so engaged and very knowledgeable on various different topics that people can benefit from.
I feel that it is a very intellectual community that I am grateful that I can learn from and teach others. It is a great outlet that is uncensored unlike most things we have today. It's fun, and it's very humbling to know that people value your opinion, content, creativity, and ideas, literally.
