Every single day of this week has been an insane adventure for me. I got exposed to so many things happening in Web3, much more than what I've been involved with since I started my Web3 adventure.
That series of encounters opened my eyes to snippets of the things happening in this space that I wasn't aware of before now. I had to question myself on several occasions about the steps I've taken so far and I wish I got this exposure 4 years ago.
You know how it feels, right?
That feeling you get when you've been doing something for years and think you are already a pro, only to later realize that what you know about your space is barely 5% of what you are supposed to know.
I won't say that I've wasted years of effort. Nope! I would be lying if I took that stance.
Every experience I've been accumulating till this very moment has helped me to improve my life over the last couple of years. It has also helped me to get in touch with so many people and I have testimonies from those who are reaping the benefit.
I showed them an opportunity.
They stepped up and grabbed that.
So, the last couple of years haven't been a wasted effort. However, at this particular stage in my journey, I've looked outside my box and noticed that there's so much that's still missing. There's so much I'm already learning and I can provide opportunities for so many more people by growing in this regard.
That's the motivation behind my decision to put in the time and effort. The core things I'm diving into are;
Learning more about Web3
Implement the things I'm learning
Documenting and building my proof of work.
Networking with other serious Web3 folks
Building relationships.
None of these things are going to be easy. I already know from my performance in this first week. There are prices to pay and I'm putting myself out there to pay the price and subsequently profit on the commitment I'm giving this.
To wrap this up, I encourage y'all to take action and be serious about building a Web3 presence. You won't regret it.
