PERSON, CORP-ORATON, CORP-ORATE, CORPS... Legalese (legal fictions from maritime law. Not a language of the living) can be very tricky and that is their intent (those who drafted the laws and documents which can ensnare you). "The devil's trick" as some say.
There's no need to study all of their laws, etymology etc if you can at least remember this much...
When you are engaged by someone of perceived authority (you did not engage them first), RECORD EVERYTHING and try to stick to these 3 very important points:
Be nice. Stay strong. Make eye contact.
Unless you have clearly endangered someone's life (yelling fire in a theatre, driving recklessly, aiming fireworks at someone, etc) or even victimized someone (financial or physical aggression, etc), you do not have any obligation to obey. You are hereby rescinding your "pledge of allegiance" contract and their Certificate of Birth (aka as a "berth").
"Hi there, where are you going today? I saw you crossing the solid white line back there. Have you been drinking? Do you have any weapons I should be afraid of?" All of these questions and many more come from their training. No matter how innocent their question may seem, do NOT answer with any other than the 3 points above.
The perceived authority may not have received proper training and they might even physically try to force you to go with them. You can defend an innocent's life (including your own) with an equal amount of force if you prefer, or go with them and repeat the same 3 points in their court. Their lawyers pass through the "bar" for a reason. Your choice though, it just depends on the situation. Remember this, you can meet force with equal force in defense of someone innocent, but never escalate the situation.
