I only got back into knitting last year. I would say that it started when I was seduced by a beautiful wool and then I chose the design with an idea in mind of what my wardrobe could use, what the sweater

I was just outside pacing it off and deciding what to plant. The hyacinths are popping up now and a squirrel has already struck!

Hyacinths are spring flowering bulbs that need to have a cold period before they will bloom. We either plant them outdoors or we "force" them indoors by keeping them in a cold place for 6 weeks,

You can tell that I love big plants. If not in this post, in my other gardening posts.

Our cold weather saves us in some ways. Most of our snow is gone now and I get to tackle a new flowerbed/garden this year.

It must be funny to see me growing things indoors that you can grow outdoors. Yeah, my euphorbia needs a new pot and I can't do that alone. By the way, I spent 9 months in Australia in 2020.

Those are impressive plants. I started some seed indoors because we can't grow them here, and they are very interesting plants. I'm going to try again sometime.

Starting seeds is so much fun. I think it's my favourite time of year.
