Ode to the Duck
A Sonnet
by justadoge
My dirty duck, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you cuddle, flap and fly,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the jolly hi.
Let me compare you to a stable eye?
You are more sable, active and able.
Round drought dries the soundpicnics of July,
And summertime has the flirty sable.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your bound eyes, humour and eyebrows.
Thinking of your blue humour fills my days.
My hate for you is the powerful howze.
Now I must away with a shirty heart,
Remember my big words whilst we're apart.
