Before the year 2022 ended, I messaged the family about taking photos together. We were not complete this time as two of our siblings are no longer living nearby. It was fine though, this is the reality of life.
But it was easy to pull this photo shoot as our selected location is just across the house. We just set up the camera and are done! We did a few timer shots. This took only less than 30 minutes in fact!
The most fun part was when we took photos of the kids. I have six nephews and nieces in all but the other four were not around. We made Kuya ZM hold Miyabear and reminded him to really be careful and not to let go. Matti on the other hand had a teddy bear so he would also have something to embrace on. Kids easily get bored so we made sure to take fast snaps as they sit there.
It turned out well.
As for my parents, I also took shots of them. They were feeling awkward so I let my father whisper some funny stuff to my mother and she laughed so hard!
I miss my other nephews and nieces and I hope they are all doing well. We messaged them and greeted happy new year. It's a little sad that our family is not complete and there are relationship problems in between our eldest and his own family but we are still hopeful and pray unceasingly about them. I know that in God's time, things will be better.
