INTRODUCE YOURSELF

I’m Jellie Campoamor, a native Boholana, and am often described as simple and shy type person. I am currently working here in Cebu as part-time financial advisor and as a full-time data analyst. Apart from work, I enjoy doing things like playing online games, drawing/painting, reading fictional books and most of all I love travelling and taking pictures. I'm sort of an adventurer. Few years ago, I worked as an internal auditor when I started to travel around the country. It was then when I realized that my passion is not just exploring different places but also meeting new people and understanding their culture. I learned that the best education I have ever received is through travel.

I haven’t had the chance to share my travel diaries in any blogging site. With steemit, this will be made possible. I’ve been looking for this kind of social media platform where I can express my thoughts and share my experiences in a positive way. I guess this is definitely the perfect avenue for aspiring blogger like me. So grateful to my very supportive cousin @chameh for introducing and encouraging me to join steemit. As a new user, she has been my ‘quick start guide’ along with @adeline24 and @mixaccount, thank you pretty ladies! And also, special thanks to @jassennessaj for his kind assistance in helping me get the approval so quickly.

It’s an awe-inspiring to be part of this community where everybody has embodied the same values and passions. So, let us all grow together and keep on creating meaningful connections. I’m excited to explore more and be able to contribute quality contents in the coming days. It’s just so fulfilling and rewarding at the same time that through this social network, we are able to gain not just in terms of monetary value but also friends and mentors who are always willing to extend full support. Just like the recent 7th Cebu bloggers meetup last February 4, I was able to make new acquaintances with some of the core leaders and new members. It was a day filled with learnings and fun.
