They may be. They bought more TSLA and they are big holders of both bitcoin and TSLA. Cathy Wood is a big fan of both.

Honestly I think the selling in BTC is related to the selling in tech stocks. The same large institutions that hold bitcoin also hold tech stocks and there has been a major rotation out of tech stocks

The idea is that the price likely goes up at least 100% from wherever the lows are from this current pullback. Once we cross that 100% gain, yes it might be wise to be cautious of the next 30% pullback.

It could certainly be more of a 2 phase bull market, more akin to 2013 than 2017. If that were to be the case then yes a deeper and more prolonged correction could certainly happen. I suspect it will be

This one went almost exactly 100% prior to this correction. I was hoping it would get over $60k before it started as that was my target to unload a bit. Unfortunately that didn't happen.

Really all you need to know is look at the yields on the 10 yr Treasury to get an idea of where things are heading...

Yes I do. I think with big institutions involved, we are going to mirror the NASDAQ to some degree. This is because the same institutions that own tech stocks are the most likely to also own bitcoin.

Yes, that is the idea. It's either the top during this cycle or just another dip. So far the odds greatly favor just another dip.

Also plus the fact that bitcoin tends to peak in December adds credence to the idea it might take a little longer to peak during this cycle.

Because they (governments) are opening it back up and people are getting vaccinated... Pretty clear what is going on.
