Se oye un son en el Caribe
con sabor a sol y mar
donde se mece el palmar
el paisaje que describe.
Las olas de un mar que vive
al latir del pescador
y un tono de sol mayor
que en el aire se percibe.
El marinero se va
con su peñero a pescar
con su rumbo hasta alta mar
para el sustento a encontrar

Suena el cuatro buyanguero
con matices de armonía
en donde se muestra el día
en un zarpar los peñeros.
Llevan rumbo compañero
en busca de pesquería
que el sustento encontraría
la misión del marinero.

Entre cantos de faenas
y fulías inspiradas
