It’s very unfortunate that the current U.S. government is only concerned with what might bring it financial gain, as is the case with Venezuela in their current relationship.
We’ve known for a long time that authoritarian regimes have no political affiliation; they can be on the right or the left—terms that, in my view, are no longer relevant.
