Yeah under direct sunlight it's almost impossible to use because of the direct heat, however mine gets too hot when I start using some app as well too.

I think the higher the processor capacity the more hotter it becomes. This isn't an issue with the snapdragon processor, it's mostly the one with the in-built home grown processor that tends to get hot.
