I like that idea but why not both? Maybe the monetary vote button can be called "leo tip" or "hive tip" and the non-VP JSON like button can be called "heart".

I notice the absence of mass bots too. Battles take longer now to find an opponent. Not super long but noticeably several seconds and not instant like before (in high silver one anyways).

Lots of people are. The problem is the interface does not show the HIVE value of a vote, just LEO.

A billion. Honestly, people shouldn't think of it as work. Think of it as a way to express yourself. Not every thread is going to get engagement or an upvote. It's just a way to share the current moment.

I think the real reason is the card rental market is down by lots for a couple of days now. Investors make up a large proportion of buyers of packs. With the rental market down, there's less interest.
