Tonight we have the neighbors of Saturn & the Moon low over in the SW sky, filmed with the Nikon P1000. Mars did finally show once I switched cameras to the Canon 80D for the still pictures, but after

A pleasant surprise to see some Sunspots once again. Sorry for the audio issues, my batteries had died on the external mic during filming. 2:45pm to 3:10pm Sunday Nov 11th, 2018, NE Ohio, SW Sky ~Jayling

We seem to have a lot of moisture in the atmosphere so the planets were kind of watery tonight. Saturn was setting over in the SW and Mars was rising over in the SSE sky. Filmed with the Canon 80D &

Clear blue skies, that is until I came outside to begin filming - then the clouds popped up and marched right in front of the Sun (lol) 1:41pm to 1:52pm, Wednesday Nov 7th, 2018, NE Ohio, 56°F (13°C) -

We've been socked in with a solid gray blanket above us for about 9 days now but finally there was a break. Mars and Saturn were the only participants tonight, along with a bit of strangeness. Saturn was

It was quite cold out, 28°F (-2°C), and the Nikon P1000 froze up on me 3 separate times during this short 15 minute shoot. It happened when taking photos, the zoom wouldn't work, no manual settings could

There were so many winged flybys tonight I lost count (lol). The 99.2% Moon was rising over in the East, with Saturn coming out poorly in the mucky sky over in the SW, and then Mars jogging along in the

Boy, it was a hard slog trying to find Saturn tonight. It was crazy, the sky was clear and it was dark enough out but it took forever to pop up tonight. Anyway, we start with Mars in the SSE sky, then

There's supposed to be a Sunspot still around but I couldn't find it. The Taurid and Orionid Meteors Showers will be this weekend, October 20th & 21st, 2018. So we'll be passing through the debris

Lawnmower night again! (lol). The Crescent Moon was partners tonight with Saturn over in the SW sky. Those clouds near the end were tripping me out, it almost seemed like a bubble around the moon or a

After being shutout for the last 5 days with dense cloud cover, there was a brief opening for a look at the moon. Around 4:17 in, there was this strange flyby that flew left to right below the moon. It

Heya Huyk, we have more to write Nikon! (lol) Testing of the Nikon ML-L7 remote without the hdmi plugged in (because it won't work at all that way). When in Movie Manual Mode during recording, and the

Only 2 planets this evening along with a slew of shaky, jerky, out of focus crap left in because I'm weary of all the calls of 'FAKE!' Many skywatchers edit their videos to not only shorten them but to

Apologies for the poor quality & shakiness but I was trying out a new equipment setup which caused some headaches. Anyway, Sirius and Orion returned. for me! Yeah, they've been in the morning sky for

A new set of Sunspots popped up today - finally! :) I didn't explain well my references about unknown planetary objects in our solar system, What I've done is a lot of experimentation and testing with

Not a whole lot of good footage tonight - it looked like we were peering through a bowlful of water. Jupiter was setting in the SW, Saturn scooting sideways in the South, and Mars rising over in the SSE.

Please be Forewarned - there are a lot of expletives in tonight's video from a cranky old lady. If swearing bothers you, this would be a good one to pass by. I would like to thank the wonderful folks who

Sorry, I did such a poor job with this. I'll try again someday with something that has features on it like the Moon. If you don't want to watch, I totally understand (lol). 2:22pm Wednesday Sept 19, 2018,
