I like analog watches from a practical point. I also appreciate songle-purpose tools that do their one thing exceptionally well instead of trying to do everything at once, not always being good at any of them, and usually failing when needed most. I have a basic analog Casio wristwatch and my grandfather's pocket watch (a basic Scotty, not collectible) among my emergency supplies because I can't rely on a phone if things go wrong. I would like a good self-winding wristwatch some day.
