Recommendation: do not use an A.I.-generated image. Many see those as a sign of laziness, and they can stick out like a sore thumb.

You don't need to use a selfie, though, if you're not comfortable sharing your face on the web. Consider a picture of a pet, a local flower, or art you made.

For example, my image started as a photo for an on-chain contest years ago, and I used Canva to draw over the photo to create my current avatar image. I have use it in one form or another since before HIVE was called HIVE.
