Have you ever seen such an innocent blush? I was in awe when I saw this Blush Iris. It was grown on a flower farm and the owner said someone had gifted her the bulbs. She had included one in a bouquet delivered to my Mom's this past weekend.
It was so amazing I had to show you two photos of it....LOL ! You love it too.... right ?
Another time there had been this red and white tulip. Looks like it should have a name like Peppermint, but I don't really know what it is called.
You can never go wrong in red.... can you?

Outside there is a Mihonia bush, with it's grape-like clusters in different shades of purple. It is an evergreen and in the early spring had fragrant yellow spikes. The leaves look a little holly'ish too. Such an unusual bush.
I put an animation here so it could dance on the wind for you a couple of seconds, but it seems to be having a hard time showing itself. I'm still going to post even though I can't see it while I am typing. I might have to regroup if it never appears.
I learned a new thing Sunday. This is a Granddad's Beard tree ! I had never heard of it and you may get a wrong idea of what it can look like, because my Mom thought part of it look dead and she whacked it off, but I loved it's frilly white ... white... um.... whatever those things are.
Here's a closer look. I think I want one now. My Mom said that my stepdad loved them. He would see them growing wild and dig them up and take them to other people to plant. LOL... The last time, he brought this one home and it is beside my Mother's driveway. I never noticed it before this year. There was so many trees cleared and maybe it was just maturing now, but either way. There was no way to miss it this time.
Ok, so I kind of got away from the flower exactly, so I'll come back and end with the purple azalea at the fence. It looks so happy.... doesn't it?
