I just clocked off of work a few minutes ago. There is no mandatory overtime this weekend, so it's ALL mine ! I love not having to work any part of the weekend.
I've been working on this journal page the last two nights. It's a little different style than my previous ones and I personally really love it. I know we all like different stuff, so if it isn't your cup-o-tea, that's ok !
Here's a little animation of some of the process. I didn't adjust any of the photos and picked them randomly from my group of photos without looking at them up close, so it may be lacking a little polish, but you'll get the jist of it I think.
I finished it last night, but today when I took photos, I had the book upside down on my art table so the spiral binding wouldn't block the window light and put a shadow on my photo. I knew I could right them back up after they downloaded. I almost liked it upside down too !

I don't really have any plans this weekend but small fun projects and more art. I think tonight I might create some fun painted and stenciled collage papers to pep up my supply.
