Again in the University City of Caracas
The great universities of the world usually have iconic campuses, centenary buildings and really adequate spaces for the development of academic and research activities, but I believe that the common factor that encompasses them all is that they manage to permeate the hearts and feelings of all students who pass through their classrooms, permanently generating a feeling of belonging that turns out to be tremendously deep, to the point of generating their own gentiles and an unconditional love for that Alma Mater that has given us knowledge, experiences and the necessary tools to succeed in life.

De Nuevo en la Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas
Las grandes universidades del mundo suelen contar con campus e icónicos, edificios centenarios y espacios realmente adecuados para el desarrollo de las actividades académicas e investigativas, pero creo que el factor común que las engloba a todas es que logran permear en el corazón y el sentimiento de todos los estudiantes que pasamos por sus aulas, permanente generando esta forma un sentimiento de pertenencia que resulta ser tremendamente profundo, al punto de generar gentilicios propios y un amor incondicional por esa Alma Mater que nos ha brindado conocimientos, experiencias y las herramientas necesarias para triunfar en la vida.

This is how those of us who graduated from the Central University of Venezuela (the best in the country) consider the University City of Caracas as a true home, which fills us with pride, is our safe space and at the same time gives us the opportunity to continue forming ourselves as integral individuals, always under the protection of an exquisite architecture, which is mixed with art and at the same time gives us the most beautiful natural scenery that the capital can know.
Es así como los que egresamos de la universidad Central de Venezuela (la mejor del país) consideramos a la Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas como un verdadero hogar, el cual nos llena de orgullo, es nuestro espacio seguro y al mismo tiempo nos regala la oportunidad de seguir formándonos como individuos integrales, siempre bajo el amparo de una exquisita arquitectura, la cual se mezcla con el arte y al mismo tiempo nos regala los más bellos escenarios naturales que la capital pueda conocer.
The University City of Caracas is a vibrant space, full of life and that has a beauty of world scale, to such an extent that its status as historical heritage of humanity is only the reaffirmation of what we all already know and that is that these corridors, buildings and squares are a real treasure, it is also here where we can find the clearest example of the great, diverse and creative that can become the human ingenuity, since here we can find really unique elements which undoubtedly must be preserved for the enjoyment of future generations.
La Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas es un espacio vibrante, lleno de vida y que cuenta con una belleza de escala mundial, a tal punto que su condición de patrimonio histórico de la humanidad es solo la reafirmación de lo que todos ya sabemos y es que esos pasillos, edificios y plazas son un verdadero tesoro, además es aquí en donde podemos encontrar el más claro ejemplo de los grandes, diversos y creativo que puede llegar a ser el Ingenio humano, puesto que acá logramos encontrar elementos realmente únicos los cuales sin duda alguna deben ser preservados para el disfrute de las futuras generaciones.
Some of the details that we can find within the spaces of this capital enclave will seem curious and at the same time incredible, but the coolest thing of all is that they are the result of a true masterpiece where architecture, nature and art were combined to generate a perfect coexistence.
Algunos de los detalles que podemos encontrar dentro de los espacios de este enclave capitalino nos parecerán curiosos y al mismo tiempo increíbles, pero lo más genial de todo es que son el resultado de una verdadera obra maestra en donde la arquitectura, la naturaleza y el arte se combinaron para generar una coexistencia perfecta.

- With its 164.22 hectares it is larger than the Vatican City.
- It is the seat of the main house of studies of the country, the Central University of Venezuela.
- The aula magna has 1,722 seats, making it one of the largest in the country.
- In the aula magna you can enjoy the so-called absolute silence, since its structure was designed to achieve an ideal environment for concerts and plays.
- Within the University City we can find from scientific institutes to small restaurants.
- Due to the large number of works of art in its spaces, this scenario can be considered a real museum.
- More than 30,000 students live in its spaces.
- It has hosted important political meetings of international stature.
- Walking to the rhythm of the music under the covered plaza, an incredible experience.
- Before its conception, the spaces of the University City were occupied by a large sugar plantation.
Curiosidades de la Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas:
- Con sus 164,22 hectáreas es más grande que la ciudad del Vaticano.
- Es la sede de la principal casa de estudios del país, la Universidad Central de Venezuela
- El aula magna cuenta con 1.722 butacas, lo que la convierte en una de las más grandes del país.
- En el aula magna se puede disfrutar del llamado silencio absoluto, ya que su estructura fue pensada para lograr un ambiente ideal propicio para conciertos y obras de teatro.
- Dentro de la Ciudad Universitaria podemos encontrar desde institutos científicos hasta pequeños restaurantes.
- Debido a la gran cantidad de obras de arte que hay en sus espacios, este escenario puede considerarse como un verdadero museo.
- En sus espacios hacen vida más de 30,000 alumnos.
- Ha sido sede de importantes reuniones políticas de talla internacional.
- Caminar al ritmo de la música bajo la plaza cubierta, una experiencia increíble.
- Antes de su concepción, los espacios de la Ciudad Universitaria eran ocupados por una gran hacienda azucarera.
These are just some of the qualities and curiosities that we can find in this country with a seat, from which we could draw thousands of stories and where I really do not get tired of walking and enjoy every moment that I have the opportunity to be there, in this opportunity I must tell you that the photographs that I present are of a tour where I prioritized the spaces of the so-called central dependencies (Rectorate Square, Central Library and Plaza Cubierta) but at the same time I took a short walk through the medical area, where the Anatomical Institute and the Experimental Institute opened their doors to me to enjoy their interesting corridors and iconic balconies, where I discovered an invaluable and interesting piece by the Venezuelan artist Francisco Narváez. I hope in the near future to be able to slip back into the bowels of this city to give you another chapter of this incredible university campus, which for a little more than 5 years was my second home.
Estas son solo algunas de las cualidades y curiosidades que podemos encontrar dentro de este país con asiento, del cual podríamos sacar miles de historias y en donde de verdad No me canso de pasear y gozarme al máximo cada instante que tengo la oportunidad de estar allí, en esta oportunidad debo comentarles de las fotografías que les presento son de un recorrido en donde prioricé los espacios de las denominadas dependencias centrales (Plaza del Rectorado, Biblioteca Central y Plaza Cubierta) pero al mismo tiempo me di un pequeño paseo por el área médica, en donde el Instituto anatómico y el Instituto experimental me abrieron sus puertas para disfrutar, de sus interesantes pasillos, e icónicos balcones, en donde pude descubrir una invaluable e interesante pieza del artista venezolano Francisco Narváez. Espero en un futuro cercano poder volver a deslizarme por las entrañas de esta ciudad para regalarles otro capítulo de este increíble campus universitario, el cual durante un poco más de 5 años fue mi segundo hogar.
