I suppose not many people are asking that question... yet. But, in case you are wondering...
I am a writer. I have written thousands of words about software, about programming techniques. I have worked for companies such as Microsoft and Google. If you were to go back and read the documentation for ADO .NET 1.0, you would most likely be reading some of my words.
I began my writing career with magazines such as CodeWorks and PC Techniques where I wrote articles about programming in BASIC and, later, Visual Basic. I was a Contributing Editor to PC Techniques, and wrote quite a few product and book reviews for them in addition to the articles.
I have also written a few thousand words of fiction. My first book of flash fiction is available for Kindle and in paperback from Amazon. The book will be released again soon (September 2, 2016) on other platforms as well. The book is called "Dreams in Transit" because I wrote and/or edited the stories on the train during my daily commute.
I am also a computer programmer. I know multiple languages. For example, I know multiple programming languages and have been writing applications for DOS, Windows, OS X, and Linux. I also do a little bit of web development and have been known to do some UI work as well.
I love to take pictures with my camera or my phone, love to edit them in PhotoShop, and love to share them on Twitter, Facebook, and my own website. When I'm not doing any of those things, I love to watch movies and I am positively addicted to gaming. I am so close to 100% on Diablo III, Reaper of Souls that I can almost touch that trophy. I have a huge pile of games waiting for me too.
Not sure what I want to talk about here, but my friend @merej99 suggested I give it a try, so here I am.
