This week hasn't been the best for me emotionally. It's been a struggle to avoid falling into the clutches of the demon of depression. That's why I was very surprised by two things my beautiful Linda did. The first is that my kitty took up the habit that my previous cat, Yellow, who passed away two years ago, used to have: she fell asleep inside a flowerpot in the garden. I saw her there, and she seemed to be seeing Yellow. I felt moved, but when I approached to take pictures, she woke up, changed position, but not location. She stayed in the flowerpot, as if waiting for me to get a good look at her and realize it wasn't another cat but her.
The second thing she did was stay by my side during the worst moments. When I was alone at home and going through a great anxiety that seemed to completely blind me to my reality, while feeling disconnected from my immediate surroundings, Linda would come in and lie down next to me. on the floor, something that is not common in her, generally when she approaches me it is to ask for food and then goes to one of her favorite places to rest, at that moment I felt that she, although being faithful to her way of being a little untouchable, showed me that she was here to accompany me 🥲 honestly cats are wonderful creatures.
