This is "funny", but not the funny that you react to. The logic is there, but the question isn't. Why a Ukraine Support group? Why the NY Times? What is the purpose of this refutation? If YOU can easily see that this is a lie, who is it meant to provoke? Who is responsible is not the question, but who is it meant to get a reaction from? There is more to this than an obviously ridculous claim of "evidence" gained from Intelligence. Intelligence implies that this information is absolutely incapable of being an intelligent understanding as fact. The idea that it is a diversion is also not an intelligent conclusion. It is for those that will see it that way. But in reality is the blatant revelation to other "intelligence" that says the opposite. It is like saying that if you believe this, you are an idiot.
