Hello everyone! I hope you are doing good. Today, I tried out portrait painting. I must say, it's like painting is calling me 😅 because I can't stop thinking about what to paint next.

This is the portrait I painted today. If you know who this is, tell me in the comment section.

See Step-by-step processes below;

I started with the wash as usual, then I proceeded to the sketch. I used burnt umber for the sketch. After the sketch, I did my blocking and moved to the next layer where I added details and then the background. As I'm not an expert yet in painting, I didn't know which background to use, so I decided to use all the remaining colors on my palette, and this is what I came up with.

Overall, the process was both challenging and rewarding. It's amazing how painting allows me to immerse myself fully in the creative process, constantly thinking, experimenting, and learning along the way. I can't wait to see where this newfound passion for painting takes me.
Thank you.
