Hey @schattenjaeger this might help some people. I feel like the sentence in large font below is the key, at least for some people.
Let's say we play this game over and over.
1/3 of the time, you'll have already picked the car, so switching = lose.
2/3s of the time, you'll have initially picked a goat.
In these cases, the game show host, by revealing a goat, is also revealing that the car is behind the other door, because you initially picked a goat.
And since this is more likely to be the case (2/3s of the time vs 1/3), chances are you should switch.
