He has done his best to get me to understand. And I do appreciate him trying to some extent. I think it is truly impossible for me to truly understand and if I act like I do understand what you guys went through I am not being genuine.

It was everyone else's story that was there for it, not mine. I can't take that away from anyone and no one can give it to me either.

I need to just be myself and use the platform and focusing on Steem really wastes time for me. It is not productive outside of trying to understand where people are coming from. But talking to people like you makes it way more clear than any piece of paper I read.

Don't judge his downvote as an attack or as a bad thing. I downvote people who "like" me and they know it is not an attack. It is just a disagreement of rewards.

I think we should change the name of downvote to reward adjustment or something and get rid of the broken heart because the broken heart does not provide a good visual description of what a downvote is actually doing in my opinion.

I think if there was a way to downvote content and not impact rating that would be better but at the same time I think people spend way too much time thinking about what rating means anyways.

I originally was against the rating system but my opinion on it has shifted a lot over the last month or so.
