We did have a hard fork recently that changed things. That is the main reason I used a 1 month chart.

I've noticed that HIVE drops more violently and recovers less

I think it is important to remember that HIVE has a higher inflation rate compared to Bitcoin and that inflation is the same when the price of HIVE is up or down. In my opinion, HIVE recovering in the same way as Bitcoin would be strange.

I’m not saying people should ignore the price but just looking at it as 8 cents and excluding the selloff in the broader market doesn’t make sense to me.
