Hive---> HBD conversion Is only for the dhf for now though, but @blocktrades is working on a system to convert hive to hbd for hf25, here's the spec:

Definitely ! working on hived is pretty hard for many reasons, but hivemind has a much lower barrier of entry, so if you got a solid grasp of postgresql and python you can definitely contribute !

Hmmm I feel like all of these should be done at the hivemind level, It's basically a way to change the sorting/viewing algorithm, and approving posts make little sense when we could instead make the algorithm

The sell difference from the peg will be returned to the DAO at end of proposal. The goal of the proposal is to accumulate 98k USD, not 98k HBD. Any thoughts on just keeping the money and fuel more marketing

After reading the whole discussion between smooth and you, I agree with him that mirroring the other convert operation is best, so 3.5 days which is then reduced if we feel like it at a later hard fork.

One thing to consider for some of the community features indicated in your post is if it will be a Json transaction that an admin can do or if it will need the account owner to put the info into the community

I completely agree with the sentiment. I feel like you're waaay underestimating the difficulty of the task. Building this sidechain will simply be a matter of utilizing what's already known to be working

I implemented memos on the recurrent transfers, so it would be possible for front ends to add some identifier on recurrent transfers and build on it :) In terms of apis I haven't built many apis yet. So
